Aerogel thermal pad is a composite product made of ultra-thinaerogel felt and PET/Pl film, etc. The product has a roomtemperature thermal conductivity of <0.035W/m-k. and at thesame time has the characteristics of flame retardant and nopowder, which is applied to the thermal insulation bufferbetween the electric cores of new energy battery packs.
By installing an aerogel thermal pad between the battery packs, it caneffectively inhibit the heat diffusion in the event of thermal runaway of thebattery cells, thus delaying the occurrence of accidents.
