Nitto SPV-224SRB is a light blue surface protection film featuring a soft PVC backing and an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is designed for temporary protection of stainless steel plates, aluminum plates and nameplates during processing.
With a nominal thickness of 0.080 mm, the film combines a flexible backing with an adhesive system formulated to minimize residue during removal.

Handling & Storage Precautions
Store at room temperature and normal humidity, away from direct sunlight.
Avoid excessive pressure during application, as this may cause the ends of the film to lift.
Thoroughly remove any surface oil before application. Oil contamination may stain the substrate or cause adhesive residue.
Conduct thorough testing and evaluation before using the product under extreme conditions.
Even small amounts of adhesive residue after removal may affect subsequent coloring, electroplating, etching or bonding. Evaluate compatibility under actual processing conditions before use.
On painted panels, paint curing and baking conditions may affect film removal. The film may become difficult to remove or may lift the paint layer. Test compatibility before application.
Peel performance on surface-treated materials, such as anodized aluminum, may vary depending on the surface treatment conditions. Evaluate suitability before use.
